About The Author
R.A. Birk was born and raised in the small farming town of Ottumwa, Iowa, where a love for storytelling, hard work, and the outdoors began early in life. Over the years, he has spent time living off the grid in northern Arizona and along the riverfront regions of Oregon. These experiences helped shape the setting and atmosphere of his debut novel, Miracle on Windy Point.
Inspired by a lifelong appreciation for nature and the strength of small communities, Birk writes stories that highlight how people come together during times of challenge. In Miracle on Windy Point, a powerful tsunami impacts a quiet coastal town in Oregon, bringing neighbors and strangers together as they navigate uncertainty and rely on one another.
